As Senior Vice President of Marketing Affiliates, PR and Corporate Communications for A+E Networks Latin America, Cesar Sabroso is responsible for the supervision, development and implementation of marketing strategies for the A+E Networks Latin America’s portfolio, A&E, History, HISTORY 2 and Lifetime channels, in the following areas: Affiliate Marketing, Corporate and Trade Events, User Creative Solutions, and Corporate Communication and Public Relations. In partnership with Olé Distribution Group, Sabroso drives the growth initiatives of Distribution and Marketing affiliate relationships in Latin America and Brazil.
César Sabroso has more than 25 years of impressive achievement in the entertainment industry in the United States and internationally, being one of the pioneers in the pay TV industry in Latin America and Brazil.
In 2018 and 2019, Sabroso was president of the jury and member of the International Emmy Miami Chapter and the Promax Latin America Awards.
Prior to joining the A+E Networks Latin America team, Sabroso was the Marketing Director for NBC Universal Television Group’s USA and Sci-Fi channels from March 1994 to December 2003.
Sabroso joined A+E Networks Latin America in March 2004 as Marketing Manager for The History Channel, and promoted to Director and later to SVP of Marketing.
Sabroso is trilingual (Spanish, English and Portuguese), holds a degree in Communications at the University of Lima, specializing in International Marketing in Cambridge and Business Administration at ESAN (Graduate Business School).
Sabroso has lived in Lima, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and New York during his career. He is currently based in Miami, Florida.
